"The Most Astonishing Fact" was a projected created for my cinematography class. Using an answer given by Neil degrasse Tyson, we used alternative techniques to create the illusion of space galaxies. I directed, shot and worked with the material shown here while my team member Ali Bassir edited the footage. I also worked alongside Tong Qi and Sharmila Akula who helped me shoot. Material used was as followed: Ink, Acrylic Paints, Food Coloring, Milk, Detergent (dishwasher soap), Baby Oil and Cooking Oil. It was shot with both a Canon III Mark 5D and the Sony NXCam FS100.
