Content For studio
Fragment 9

aka, the time chased a long time dream

In 2022, I was just finally getting the hang of a Freelance Motion Graphic designer , having just Art Directed my first big motion project with Mindbodygreen and doing some character and environment work for Glass and Marker. Looking for my next gig, I had stumbled onto a post my friend had made for a studio he’d often do work for, Fragment 9, a small studio with its home base in Colorado.

Now, something about me - I’ve always wanted  to work in the music realm of things. I grew up with my dad quizzing me on Rolling Stone members (both past and present), made fan made music videos in middle school, and up until 2023, I was going to concerts and local shows on a weekly basis. Hell, I have my own music podcast!  Music is in my blood and if I had an ounce of musical talent I would’ve attempted to be a rockstar myself.

At the time, I thought my dream gig was to make visuals for live concerts, making content that would help heighten the experience of hearing live music. Shows, for me, are the closest thing to having a religious experience. Whether it’s the church is the grand scale of MSG or me peeling my Doc Martens from the floor of Brooklyn Steel, I wanted a small part of that world.

So I took a chance and emailed the guys over at F9, thinking my email would go ignored due to me having very limited experience in this realm of things.

Can you believe my surprise when they got back to me?

Here’s a collection of content I made for Fragment 9. The work that I'm most proud of are the ones that fall under the "video editing" category,
but I also did some design and animation work for the artist Latto for the Billboard Music Awards and some content and content direction for
Usher’s Vegas residency.
